Pre School's Guide to Funding
Am I Eligible for Funding and How do I Claim?
2 Year Funding
Some 2-year-olds will be eligible for up to 15 hours funded childcare. To check eligibility visit:
If eligible you will be given a code which needs to be passed on to Pre School and fill in a funding form (Parental Declaration) provided by Pre School and provide a copy of child’s birth certificate and proof of address. This form needs to be signed every term, prompted by Pre School.
30 Hour Funding
Some 3 & 4-year-olds will also be eligible for an additional 15 hours funding. To check eligibility visit: https://childcarechoices.gov.uk
Parents must apply online and then pass on the code to Pre School or other childcare providers along with the parent’s National Insurance number. This must be done before the beginning of a term ie August 31st, December 31st and March 31st or funding cannot be claimed until the following term. *For 30 hours of funding, up to 21 hours can be used with us.
3 & 4 Year 15 Hour Funding
All children are eligible for 15 hours of funded childcare. Fill in funding form (Parental Declaration) provided by Pre School and provide a copy of the child’s birth certificate and proof of address. This form needs to be signed every term, prompted by Pre School.
Early Years Pupil Premium
Some 3 & 4-year-old children will also be eligible for Pupil Premium. This funding does not pay for their sessions however the money received is spent directly on your child (toys, equipment).
